InMotion's US store listed nine electric unicycles on October 9, 2026, from the 240 Wh V6 at $449 to the 4,200 Wh P6 at $4,999. For most first wheels the choice narrows to two: the dual-tire E20 (240 Wh, 12.4 mph, 30 lb) for the gentlest start, or the V9 (750 Wh, 84V, 60 mm suspension, 50.7 lb) if you want a wheel you will not outgrow in a month.
Riders moving up should compare the V11Y, V12S and V14 Pro on battery size against weight, because every step up adds both. All figures below come from InMotion's own US product pages, its warranty, return and shipping policies, and the V12S user manual, read on October 9, 2026. Where InMotion's pages contradict themselves, we point it out.

Price bands run from InMotion's sale price to its list price on October 9, 2026; InMotion discounts often, so treat them as a guide. The E20 showed as sold out on InMotion's own store that day but was in stock on Amazon from the seller "Inmotion Direct" (per the Amazon listing). The V12 Pro was sold out, and the V12S was on pre-order with shipping expected around October 15.
For the 84V packs, InMotion states the cell layout (20 cells in series) and an 84V charger rather than a pack voltage; 84V is the full-charge voltage of a 20-series pack. Our battery voltage guide explains what the 84V, 100.8V and 134.4V classes mean for power headroom.
How to read InMotion's numbers
Rated and peak power
InMotion gives two motor figures for every wheel and labels the second one "Max power". Compare rated with rated: the V9's 1,000 W rated motor is less than half the V11Y's 2,500 W, while the V14 Pro rates 4,000 W. The peak figure says how much the motor can deliver in a short burst, which matters on steep climbs and hard acceleration; it is not the power you ride on.
Range claims and their conditions
Most InMotion product pages list a maximum range with no test conditions. The V9 page claims 37 miles, then says in its own FAQ that 20 to 30 miles is more typical. The V12S manual is the one place InMotion spells the test out: full charge, a 90 kg (198 lb) load, 25°C (77°F), 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph) on a flat paved road. Heavier riders, cold weather and higher speeds all cut range, so plan on the lower figure and check your own commute with the range calculator.
Tire sizes
InMotion's V12S page calls its tire 16-inch, while the V12S manual lists a 3.00-12 tire on a 12-inch motor. The V14 Pro's spec table says 12 x 3 inches and its feature section says 16 x 3 inches. In a code such as 3.00-12, the 3.00 is the tire width and the 12 is the rim diameter in inches; the "16-inch" figure describes the wheel's overall size. Compare wheels using the same kind of number.
Where the pages disagree
The V9 page gives 50.7 lb in its spec table and 23 to 24 kg elsewhere, and lists a 2 A charger in the table while its FAQ says early units ship with a 4 A charger. The V8S page names BAK cells in the spec table and LG cells in its highlights. The V12 Pro table says 69.3 lb and its FAQ says 64 lb. The V12S page lists IP56 in the table and IPX6 for the whole vehicle in the text. We used the spec-table figure in each case; ask InMotion before you rely on any of these for a purchase decision.
Which InMotion fits which rider
First wheel: E20, V6 or V8S
The E20 runs two narrow tires side by side on one hub, which gives it a wider footprint while you learn. It tops out at 12.4 mph, weighs 30 lb, and has a 198 lb maximum load. The V6 is a single-tire wheel with the same 240 Wh pack, a 15.5 mph top speed and 27.6 lb weight; its spec table also says 198 lb, though its FAQ says 100 kg (220 lb).
The V8S is the step up that most riders will keep longer: a 728 Wh, 84V pack, 1,000 W rated motor, 264 lb maximum load and 35.2 lb weight. InMotion limits it to 15.5 mph out of the box and lets you raise that to 35 km/h (21.7 mph) in the app. Riders over 198 lb should skip the E20 and V6 for that reason alone. Our beginner wheel guide compares these with other brands' first wheels.
Commuter with suspension: V9
The V9 is InMotion's smallest suspension wheel: 60 mm of travel, a 750 Wh pack, a 16 x 3 inch tubeless tire, an IPX6 rating and a 265 lb maximum load. It weighs 50.7 lb by the spec table, about 15 lb more than the V8S, which matters if you carry it up stairs. Its 1,000 W rated motor matches the V8S, so the extra money buys suspension and a wider tire rather than more power. Skip it if your round trip is longer than the 20 to 30 miles InMotion's own FAQ calls typical.
Long range: V11Y, V12S and V12 Pro
The V11Y doubles the V9's pack to 1,500 Wh, adds 85 mm of suspension and an 18 x 3 inch tire, and weighs 66 lb. It accepts up to 10 A charging, against an 8-hour charge on the included 2.5 A charger. The V12S keeps an 84V pack at 1,440 Wh but adds 90 mm of hydraulic suspension, a 6,000 W peak motor and a 309 lb (140 kg) maximum load, at 77 lb.
The V12 Pro is the odd one out: a 100.8V, 1,750 Wh pack and 96.3-mile range claim with no suspension listed, at 69.3 lb. It was sold out on October 9, 2026.
Off-road and high voltage: V14 Pro and P6
The V14 Pro (sold earlier as the Adventure) moves to a 134.4V, 2,400 Wh pack, a 4,000 W rated motor, 85 mm of suspension with 17 damping levels, and a 309 lb maximum load. At 86 lb it is a wheel you roll, not carry. It is also one of two InMotion wheels with a 12-month battery warranty instead of 6 months.
The P6 is InMotion's flagship: a 4,200 Wh pack on what InMotion calls a 235V platform, a 6,000 W rated motor, 90 mm hydraulic suspension, an 80/90-14 tire and 112 lb. InMotion's page adds one extra year of warranty on the motor, battery and controller for buyers who pay in full. Anyone who cannot lift 86 to 112 lb into a car should stop at the V12S.

InMotion's warranty applies to products bought directly from its official website, needs proof of that purchase, and is not transferable. Purchases from an authorized distributor are handled by that distributor, and InMotion's return policy says items bought from unauthorized retailers or second-hand markets get no warranty service. The warranty page does not mention Amazon, so if you buy there, confirm with InMotion that a listing sold by "Inmotion Direct" carries the same coverage. Our where to buy guide sets the channels side by side.
Water damage, crashes, exceeding the weight limit, opening the battery, non-approved chargers and unofficial firmware all fall outside the warranty. After the first 7 days, US owners pay shipping both ways to InMotion's service center.
Returns must be requested within 15 days of delivery, and the wheel must be unused, still sealed and in its original packaging. InMotion charges a 10% restocking fee, deducts the original shipping cost, and you pay return shipping. Shipping is free on orders of $100 or more to the lower 48 states; InMotion does not ship to PO boxes or APO addresses, and most wheels ship from its US warehouse by FedEx with a signature required.
Who should skip InMotion
If battery coverage matters most, note that most InMotion wheels carry 6 months on the battery, while King Song's policy lists 1 year on the battery pack; our warranty comparison covers all four big brands. If you want a large-diameter tire for rough ground, the P6 is InMotion's only wheel on a 14-inch rim, at $4,999. And if you plan to buy used, remember that InMotion's warranty stays with the original buyer. For how InMotion stacks up against King Song, Begode and Leaperkim as companies, see our brand comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Where are InMotion electric unicycles shipped from?
InMotion's US shipping policy says most electric unicycles ship from its US warehouse, usually by FedEx, with a signature required on delivery. Shipping is free on orders of $100 or more to the lower 48 states, and InMotion does not ship to PO boxes or APO addresses.
How long is the InMotion electric unicycle warranty?
The frame, motor and controller are covered for 12 months from delivery. The battery is covered for 6 months, except on the V14 and P6, which get 12 months. Chargers, displays and suspension get 6 months, lights get 3 months, and tires and the shell are not covered.
Does the InMotion warranty cover a wheel bought on Amazon?
InMotion's warranty page says it applies to products bought directly from the official InMotion website and that distributor purchases are handled by the distributor. It does not mention Amazon. The Amazon listings for the E20, V9 and P6 name Inmotion Direct as the seller, so ask InMotion to confirm coverage before you buy.
Which InMotion electric unicycle is best for a beginner?
On the specs, the E20 is the gentlest start: two tires on one hub, a 12.4 mph top speed and 30 lb weight, but a 198 lb maximum load. The V8S suits heavier or more committed beginners, with a 264 lb maximum load, a 728 Wh pack and a 15.5 mph limit out of the box that can be raised in the app.
What is the difference between the InMotion V12S and V12 Pro?

Can I return an InMotion electric unicycle?
Only within 15 days of delivery, and only if it is unused, still sealed and in the original packaging. InMotion charges a 10% restocking fee, deducts the original shipping cost from the refund, and the buyer pays return shipping unless InMotion made an error.
